About KIIT Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology or KIIT or KIIT University is deemed to be a university that was established in 1992. In 1997 it received the recognition of a university. KIIT is located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The university is recognized by the UGC. The KIIT campus, located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, is known for its lush green surroundings and expansive infrastructure, spread across 7.5 million sq. ft. of built-up area. The campus includes extensive sports facilities spread over 29 acres, including 12 sports complexes that host cricket matches, including Ranji games, swimming pools, and the Biju Patnaik Indoor Stadium for indoor sports like chess, carom, table tennis, badminton, basketball, and volleyball. Additionally, the campus features a well-equipped gym.
Residential facilities at KIIT are separate for boys and girls, with round-the-clock internet and intranet, 24-hour reading rooms, and provisions for indoor and outdoor games. The hostel mess serves nutritious food, ensuring a comfortable stay. Other amenities include a hospital, bank, library, convention center, post office, and even a railway ticket reservation center, making KIIT a fully self-sufficient campus for its students.

1. Either completed class 12th in the previous year or appeared for the board exams in the same year.
